Advantages: Entertaining, jumpy, not too scary (thank god), great storyline

Disadvantages: May be a little too gory for some people

I am an absolute chicken when it comes to horror films and dont watch too many of them very often unless its one i really want to see. I just always say to people "Why would you want to be scared?" I just dont get it, i prefer a good comedy.

Anyway, i remember seeing the adverts for this film and thought it looked really good so being brave, i went to the cinema to see it.

If you have never seen the film Jeepers Creepers, its a scary horror film that came to our screens in 2001. It was directed by Victor Salva and has a cast including Gina Philips and the talented Justin Long.

The plot centres around a day in the life of brother and sister Trish and Darry and shows them driving home from college to their parents house when they are on a break.

They are driving through the deserted countryside when a mystery driver in a Chevrolet van tries to run them off the road. They dont see the face of whoever is driving the van and manage to escape unharmed.

The van passes them and later down the road they see what appears to be dead bodies being thrown from the van into an old abandoned church.

They try to investigate but dont realise that sticking their noses in could cost them a lot of trouble!

I wont give away any more of the story incase i ruin it for you but i have to say that i think this film is completely brilliant. There are a lot of jumpy bits in the film and i literally jumped out of my seat at them!

Some bits in the film are a bit gory so maybe not best to watch for the faint hearted ( i have a really weak stomach so if i can watch it, im sure anyone can!)

There are a few surprises and twists and turns in the film that you wont expect but i definitely think its worth watching. Im planning on watching a lot of scary films on halloween with my boyfriend and this will be one of them.

I bought my dvd of Jeepers Creepers years ago for about £10. I cant remember where i bought it but you can buy it from Play.com for just £3.99 which is a great price!
