In 2003 the second 'Jeepers Creepers' film in the series emerged from the director Victor Salva. Having been quite a fan of the original film I was looking forward to seeing this and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's not as good as the original I feel, still however it's a decent film from Victor Salva and one that I have now watched a number of times. The plot line is predictable, the film doesn't follow on particularly well from the original, still however I find 'Jeepers Creepers 2' to be interesting and enjoyable. Set a few days after the original film, 'Jeepers Creepers 2' tells the tale of a high school basketball team returning home after a big ... Read the complete review

Jeepers Creepers was one of the most successful horror films of recent years. It was never a film that particularly impressed me. I always felt that it was actually two separate films that had been stitched together (rather clumsily) in the middle. It was inevitable that a sequel would be made though. The first movie took so much money, that a follow-up was really just a license to print money. A few days after the events of the first film, a farmer and his two sons are out tending to crops in the fields. Whilst the father and oldest son are fiddling around in the farmhouse, the youngest son, Billy, is tasked with securing the enormous scarecrows deposited ... Read the complete review

The first Jeepers Creepers, released into cinemas two years ago, was to some a extent nice surprise - a horror movie that took its time to build up a scary scenario and build an intimidating atmosphere. Past the mid-point, it turned stupid, but half a good movie in this genre is more than one usually expects. However, because the film was financially successful, a sequel was predictable. I did not approach this movie with much optimism (due to the poor number of sequels being released over the past two years), even though the original writer/director, Victor Salva, was still in control. Unfortunately, my apprehension was justified. Jeepers Creepers 2 ... Read the complete review

Victor Salva's Jeepers Creepers had one thing that this sequel could not: the fear of the unknown. JC2 follows straight on from the first film, chronologically, and is a horror film not to be taken lightly. The film opens as a farmer and his sons are out working in the fields when one of the scarecrows suddenly sprouts wings and flies off with the youngest son. The scene then flicks to a school bus, returning a group of basketball players and cheerleaders after a game. When the bus bursts a tyre, they soon realise that there is something out there in the darkness that is stalking them. In all honesty, this works because of the careful construction. ... The scary Jeepers Creepers 2 that follows on directly from the original movie. Made in 2003 and directed by Victor Salva. For those of you that are unaware of what happens in the first movie, a winged demon like creature that feeds on Humans and uses their parts to regenerate itself was discovered by a brother and sister. The creature chooses its victims and always gets his prey, somehow knowing where they are (sort of like the grim reaper but more scary) Anyway the creature takes the brother in the end of the first film. This film focus's on a team of high School team of basketball players and their cheer leaders as they make their way ... Read the complete review
