This 1996 film was a relatively new concept to me. Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never previously heard of it's existance. Whilst watching the build up to superbowl 43, there was a clip of this film, accordingly fitting as one of the superbow finalists were the Arizina Cardinals, a team with strong reference throughout this film. Jerry Maguire is perhaps the best film Tom Cruise has starred in. This star studded comedy drama also includes the cast of Cuba Gooding Jr, Rene Zellweger, and Jonathan Lipnicki. I watched this film when I was just 13 years old. Every time I watch it the more it appeals to me with a message. Now i want to spread the word of this cult classic film. Occasionally you watch a film that makes you wonder what your life is really about, where it’s going, and maybe make a decision that will radically change your thinking and outlook on life itself. That film is Jerry Maguire. Having watched this previously on video when first released I grabbed the opportunity on Sunday last to watch this again on Channel 4. This truly is a wonderful heartfelt film that really does make you think about what the important things in life, and how easy it is to forget.
