Jackie Chan took a long time to actually achieve a big break onto the international scene which is an enormous shame when you consider the quality of his earlier work. Supercop was released under that particular title in 1992, dubbed into English from its original language, but viewers with more rounded tastes would already have seen it under its original title some three years previous to this re-release. Whether you see the dubbed version or the undubbed version really doesn't make much difference because the appreciation of the movie has little to do with the scripting or the plotting, both are rather incidental to the real point of watching.
