This is a modern take on the classic Jules Verne novel. It isn't a remake or an adaptation as the novel is mentioned on numerous occasions. Brendan Fraser plays an American proffessor who's Nephew comes to stay with him for a fortnight. While his Nephew is in town Fraser takes him to Fraser's research lab founded by the Nephews father. Whilst at the lab, the guys notice that 3 seismic monitors are reading the same as when Fraser's Brother & the boys Father went missing years ago.
