This film stars Sylvester Stallone in his typical role as an action hero and he plays the comic book hero, Judge Dredd. The film focuses around Dredd being set up for a crime he didn't commit and his attempts to prove his innocence. This entails alot of violence and death and Stallone does it in style as you would expect. There is the inevitable bad guy in th film who Stallone must go one to one with in the end and I'll leave it to your imagination who wins. The film has lots of action and violence, it is a reasonably good script and is well delivered by the cast. The film is good to watch 2 or 3 times then unless you are a Judge Dredd or Stallone fan you will tire of it. It is well worth seeing if you haven't seen it yet, but don't expect a classic film.
