Advantages: Looked like it might be good...

Disadvantages: It wasn't

Judge Dredd is based on the 2000AD comics of the same name. Stallone plays Dredd who is a cop come judge (i.e. he can arrest and then kill you in seconds...). Unfortunately he is convicted of a murder and.....can you guess, he has to clear his name...

The film has great effects and looks really cool, but it's soon apparent that it's all too tacky!! Stallone puts in a typically wooden performance, and the plot isn't exactly original. It's a shame that the comic was so good and the film has failed to deliever with the same punch. I would recommend to give it a miss.
