Premium Review Jungle Book / Snow White (DVD): More Disney magic on a disk. (173 words)

I was never a huge fan of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but looknig back on it with older eyes I can certainally see its charm (if this is true of all children who watched it then perhaps it wasnt such a good childrens film;) ). Two classic Disney films together in this Box Set. The Jungle Book is a favourite of mine - I can watch it again and again and recently bought it for my nieces just as an excuse to watch it with them. I am aware of Snow White as a classic as a concept although I do not rate it as highly as the former. Still very watchable, if less so than the Jungle Book, which has so many amazing moments to me, from the Elephant March, to the Bare Necessities song, to the confrontation with Sheer Kahn, which is brewing through the entire movie and inexorably working towards the climax. Baloo is one of the nices and friendliest characters ever in a Disney Movie and his devotion to ...
