Juno is a film that I have now seen many times, it always seems to entertain me, despite seeing it so many times. The film is basically about a young girl (Juno) played by Ellen Page, who gets pregnant at 16. The film shows her progress throughout the pregnancy and how she goes about choosing adoptive parents. She is very independently minded and different.

It is quite a witty film, I wouldn't say it is particularly funny, but it's a good watch and is interesting. I believe that Ellen Page really does play her role very well; I don't think the film would have quite worked without her in it. I also think that Michael Cera, who plays 'Bleeker' in the film, plays his role well. He is shown to be a very nervous walked over 16 year old guy.

The film since its release, has been nominated for 3 Oscars and has won awards such as best original screenplay. This is apparent if you watch it. It is clear that interaction with other characters is not needed a lot in this film as it can be understood through the emotions that Juno goes through. This is a must see if you haven't seen it already.

This film is on DVD and can be purchased in HMV and online.

Summary: independant teen pregnancy

The film irritates me some, trying too hard to be a low budget indie..
