Better than the second instalment (Jurassic Park 3 (DVD))

Advantages: cracking dinosaurs as always

Disadvantages: not as good as the first

Jurassic Park 3 is actually quite a good film in my opinion especially after the flop that was Jurassic Park II.

It follows the Kirby's who's son goes on a paragliding adventure with his stepdad on Isla Sorna (where the dinosaurs are loose) and goes missing. The Kirbys are after hiring Sam Neill to help find their son but trick him into thinking they just want to visit the island for their wedding anniversary and offer Sam Neill obscene amounts of money for his research if they'll take him.

Sam reluctantly agrees and then on the plane it becomes clear they aren't interested in the scenery and the truth comes out, the plane lands they look for their son get chased by a few dinosaurs, jump back on the plane and then it crashes, the dino's eat a few passengers and the race is on to find their sone (which they do) and get off the island before they are all eaten.

Its a good film, doesn't match the first but as always effects are good too

Summary: not a bad film and worth watching
