I went to see Jurassic Park 3 having seen the previous ones I thought I might as well watch this. Having been fairly impressed with the special effects I thought it may be good. Without spoiling to much of the story line which I think is pretty basic the acting is good Sam Neil who stars as Dr. Grant who plays the scientist type of character amazed at the happenings. Fellow actors William Macy and Tea Leoni play a couple –Paul and Amanda Kirby trying to find their son who disappeared. The Dinosaurs emerge, the graphics and detail on them were quite impressive. The realism was certainly there, well created in proportion to humans but I couldn’t see much difference from Jurassic Park 1. At times I felt like I was watching a re-run of Predator (an animal chasing soldiers in the forest) the dinosaurs were always near while the civilians fled. The ending is dire, you will leave the cinema still waiting for it to end. They could have improved it much more I definitely think this should be the last of the Jurassic Park films. The spark has gone yes the animals have been created wonderfully and the kids will love it but there’s nothing that will spark a conversation about or will live long in the memory. It seems like a film that you have seen somewhere else, the plot is basic a good excuse to get into the Island. The acting is good and they did keep me a wake so they do deserve some recognition. Overall you will leave the cinema irritated that you think the ending is to abrupt. Good film but could have been excellent, fell short on many hurdles.
