Just Friends sees Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds) who in high school was an overweight, sweet, caring and likeable guy who had a massive crush on his best friend Jamie (Amy Smart) but never managed to get anywhere as she was always dating the cool guys and staying just friends with him.
Years have passed and Chris has now lost the weight and transformend into a big time record producer out touring with the hottest pop star in Samantha James (Anna Faris) but when his plane needs to divert and make an emergency landing near his old home he ends up bumping into Jamie in a bar.
The film then develops as we see Chris trying hard to win the love of Jamie whilst she falls for another man and Samantha trying to win Chris's heart. Will all work out for everyone involved or will there be hurt and pain before all is done?

I loved this film! I went into the film with fairly high expectations as I have seen Ryan Reynolds in a few comedy films and found him to be hilarious and with the film having my favourite actress in Anna Faris I had huge hopes that were not let down. The film is hilarious and full of great comedy moments throughout, the plot is excellent, the script well put together and thanks to a terrific cast the movie manages to pull off what it aims for and give you laughs throughout.
