After watching the straight to DVD release of the animated adventure Superman: Doomsday, I felt that I had been somewhat cheated. In 1993, The Death of Superman was a strong, if not epic story that continued in the comics for over six months, so to get this into a 70 minute feature was never going to work out that well.
