Advantages: Great sense of realism

Disadvantages: Bit boring at times

Not nearly as good as Vertical Limit or Clifhanger. But not a bad film either. The acting is good, the plot is obvious (you'd have to be a numpty not to know what's going to happen next) but respectable. And it has it's moments of good drama and tension. What I actually like most about it is the great sense of realism in terms of character. None of the characters are glamourised in any way. There is no heroic type or 'cool' guy. Not to say that's a bad thing, I love Hollywood! But it is nice to see very 'real' acting once in a while. It almost feels like a documentary at times, the characters are very believable and natural. But at the end of the day, the film is nothing special. Decent enough to watch I'd say, but don't get too excited, it's certainly not going to impress everyone.
