Wow well this will be only my second review on a Bollywood film, and on a film that I really enjoyed watching. My previous review on Lagaan was also an inspirational film, largely due to the fact that it was about cricket; however this film is perhaps the total opposite. It's got so many general themes, and to be honest regardless of race or creed the message and understanding applies to every family in one aspect or another. I am reviewing Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Directed by Karan Johar, and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and many more top class bollywood actors. Well I went to see the film in theatres when it was ... Read the complete review

This movie was a quite a high budget movie that had been quite a success with each and every songs well known to the audience. To be honest this movie was very captivating and also included major actors and their chemistry between them made it a hit as well. The movie staring Sharuk, Kajol, Hrithik and Kareena, Amitab and his wife Jaiya. It basically about family and how things go wrong with them and are brought back together. Amitab however raises both of them as his own and never differentiated between them. Until Sharuk ... Read the complete review

We decided to catch a movie at our local cinema and the choices were lord of the rings, princess diaries and some other crap looking films, which we had all seen between us. So what could we see? Well one thing we all knew was that Nat loves Bollywood! So since it was her birthday of course we were going to let her see the latest Bollywood Smash that I can’t really pronounce… Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham which means sometimes happy sometimes sad! ... This film had a huge build up before release and I'm glad that it has been a big success. Kabhi khushi kabhi gham means 'sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness'. I will call Kabhi khushi kabhi gham 'K3g' from now on. Oh yes- if you're a bit soppy, then don't forget the Kleenex. I think I'm the only person I know who watched the whole film with dry eyes! K3g has a huge cast in terms of popularity and success. Amitabh Bachchan who plays Yashovardhan Raichand in the film is the most successful Bollywood star to date. His wife in real life -Jaya Bachchan plays Nandini, Yashovardhan's wife. They have two sons Rahul (played ... Read the complete review
