A priest, a rabbi and a beautiful, tough and very smart woman are best friends... Sounds like the start of a good joke, no? Actually, it could well be but in this case, it's the basis for a pretty funny film - Keeping the Faith. The story to this movie is very simple. There is a Catholic priest and a rabbi who have remained best friends since their early New York childhood. But back when they were in 8th grade, a feisty girl joined their group and they became an inseparable trio. Unfortunately, she moved across the county before 9th grade began, but she was never forgotten. Twenty years later she comes back to New York on business, and when they all meet up ... This is another hilarious movie from Ben Stiller that I know you will enjoy. It is not his best work but it does its job of keeping you entertained for its hour and half run. I am not usual one to enjoy movies about religion, but this one is just so very funny. The movie is about Brian Finn, played by Edward Norton, who happens to be a Priest, and his friend Jacob Schram, played by the hilariously funny Ben Stiller, who happens to be a Rabbi. These two have been friends since they were children. However, there friendship is tested when the beautiful Anna Reilly, Jenna Elfman, comes into their lives again. Anna also grew up with these two boys, but moved away ... Read the complete review

This is an interesting comedy film about a Priest (Ed Norton) and a Rabbi (Ben Stiller) who are best friends. They both fall for the same girl, a long lost childhood friend who has become a high powered businesswoman, Anna Riley (Jenna Elfman). The film sits comfortably in the romantic comedy genre and has some really good laughs in it but also a tendency towards the usual Hollywood cheesiness when it comes to romance. The main trio were friends as kids until Anna's parents moved away and they lost contact. Years later Norton has become a Priest and Stiller is a Rabbi, they are still best friends and both work in New York. Anna comes to town on business and ... Read the complete review

"Keeping The Faith" is less about religion than it is about what makes us who we are. More specifically, it leads us to ask ourselves if our lives and our careers are interchangeable terms. The film has three well-drawn characters: Father Brian Finn (Edward Norton, who also directed), Rabbi Jacob Schram (Ben Stiller), and Anna Reilly (Jenna Elfman) who all have to answer this question in very different ways. When you're man of God, as Brian and Jake are, you can't leave your work at work. You live your job more than any other profession because you're in constant communication with the Boss even after regular office hours. Anna's office is also ... Read the complete review

Jake Schram (Ben Stiller) and Brian Finn (Edward Norton), grew up as best friends in New York. Both of them follow there own religions, Jake's being Jewish and Brian's being Roman Catholic, but they also show an interest in each others beliefs. The only thing they like as much, is their friend Anna (Jenna Elfman), the three of them are best friends and spend all their time together that is until Anna's family move away from New York. 16 years go past, and Brian is now a priest serving at a local Catholic church, where he has built up a good rapport relationship with the local youth. Jake has become a Rabbi, serving at a synagogue under the guidance of Rabbi ... Read the complete review
