Advantages: Thilling, Visually appealing despite all the gore!, More to come!

Disadvantages: I can't wait for the next one!

I sure was stunned to find that this film really is an all action-packed homage to the best of the spaghetti westerns and kung-fu thrillers of yesteryear, and with it's all star cast, it is an absolutely immaculate masterpiece of riveting entertainment.

Not since modern movies like 'Darkman', and 'Kiss of the Dragon' has one experienced the sheer quest for vengeance that takes precedence in the story. Interspersed with incredible graphic sequences, animation, philosophy and a stunning audio and musical soundtrack that makes maximum use of surround.

Inevitably with the influx of Eastern talent to the West in recent years, director Quentin Tarantino (who is a big fan of kung fu films), has employed some of the best in his film. Asia's Yuen Woo Ping and Gordon Liu from Hong Kong and Sonny Chiba from Japan have lent their talents to 'Kill Bill'.

I found it impossible to fault this masterpiece in any sense, since every aspect of what it is all about (for me), seemed to have been brought impeccably to the screen in one way or another. We can look forward to more too in sheer wonder as to what is in store with the continuation of the story.

Tarantino has, without doubt, created a unique piece of work that seems to mix fantasy and reality, emotion and sense, guilt and shame with gore and glamour making a visually stimulating and very refreshingly different composition that in my mind should not just rake awards, but go down as an absolute classic. A must see!

The only thing is - How the hell do you carry a Samurai Sword in your hand luggage on board an Aircraft?
