Knocked Up
I just watched this film last night for the first time and loved every minute of it. I remember wanting to go and watch the film in the Cinema when it came out but not managing to at the time. However, watching it had me in complete stitches all the way through.
Without saying too much about the film so that I don't spoil it for you, the film is about a girl named Alison who meets a guy called Ben whilst they are on a night out. The pair end up leaving the club together and the next day Ben doesn't realise what happened the night before. Eight weeks later, Alison realises she is pregnant. I will leave the rest of the story for you to find out. It really is a good film and will keep you laughing all the way. What happens between Alison and Ben? Will Alison have their baby? Will Jonah stick by Alison?
There are four main characters in the film. These include Alison who is played by Katherine Heigl, Ben who is played by Seth Rogen, Pete who is played by Paul Rudd and finally Debbie who is played by Leslie Mann. There are other characters in the film as well. I don't think I have seen any of these actors or actresses in previous films I have watched but found their acting skills to be good.
The film is directed and produced by Judd Apatow and lasts for roughly 133 minutes. The film can be purchased in shops such as HMV for roughly £16.99. Some may think this is quite pricey for a DVD but after the giggles I had.. I don't! Also, it is newly released which is why it costs slightly more than your average DVD.
