Advantages: touching

Disadvantages: a bit long

Knocked Up - For fun loving party animal Ben Stone, the last thing he expected was for his one night stand to show up on his doorstep eight weeks later to tell him she's pregnant. The two seem such a mismatch, Alison, a beautiful blond who has everything going for her, recently promoted in her TV entertainment job whereas Ben is basically a bum. He has no job, no money and hangs out with a bunch of stoners. I didn't really warm to the characters immediately and the film seemed quite long and drawn out but i found the end quite sweet and touching. The film had some really funny moments but these were mixed with darker moments and the whole film had a more serious tone than other Apatow films like superbad and 40 year old virgin and deals with some serious issues about commitment, life choices and becoming an adult.

Summary: Quite slow moving but a touching film, worth watching
