La Antena (DVD)

La Antena is a surreal and hauntingly beautiful modern day black and white film that's almost silent, but still manages to leave a huge impact on the viewer. A city has lost it's voice. It happened many years ago, somebody took away the speech of the inhabitants, and after a while nobody seemed bothered by the silence. The population communicates through the use of lip movement, hand signals, and somehow even their own subtitles. The city itself is under control of Mr TV, who has used some technology to steal their speech, and owns a monopoly of products.
