La Bamba Lou Diamond Philips This film tells the story of Ritchie Valens. Who took the Rock and Roll world by storm. He came from a poor family background in Latin America, when a chance meeting with a local record producer, from Delphi records was going to change his life in ways he never thought possible. We watch as he copes with going through high school, playing in a local band and love. The love of his life is Donna but as often happens with Love there are problems, Donna is from a rich White family an her parents frown on the fact that she is associating with someone of Ritchie's calibre.
