This is a great, overlooked little piece of fantasy from the 80s. Highly recommended as a friendly, romantic drama to watch with a girl / boy friend. Family entertainment too.... Why? ...at its centre, is one interesting idea: 2 wandering lovers, doomed under a spell to become animals. She: a hawk during the day while he: a wolf by night. They can never see each other as people except for a few agonised seconds as they turn ....
