When I first saw the trailer to this movie the first thing that stood out was of course the fact that Will Ferrell was starrnig in it. The second thing that stood out was that it was very colourful and looked like it would be quite a good movie to watch, but not a must see. ~~~Synopsis~~~ Dr. Rick Marshal is a scientist who believes that he can open up a space time vortex so that he can move between different dimensions. Obviously he achieves this (otherwise there wouldn't be a movie) and along with fellow scientist Holly Cantrell and new friends Will and Cha-ka they atempt to return to their normal world. ~~~Cast~~~ Will ... This is a film that I would call a brain dead fim. In other words it is only going to be funny for you if you are into silly cheap gags. Eventhough this film is not a usual type that I would enjoy I really did thought so says alot about me I must be brain dead. Will ferrel plays Dr Rick Mashall who is an inventor in a way that makes a sort of time porthole but it will only work in a certain place. His sidekick Anna Friel (Holly Cantrell) takes him to this place to use the machine to see if it will work. When they get their they are greeted by Danny McBride (Will Stanton) who runs this underground aparently scary tunnel who makes alot of crude comments ... Read the complete review

A scientist, Dr Rick Marshall (Wil Ferel) is disowned by all other scientists for his theory that a parallel dimension exists where the past, present and future all meet and that this is the answer to saving the world from its destructive path. However, spurred on by Holly Cantrell (Anna Friel) the only person who believes in him, he creates a machine that can create a time warp to allow travel to this dimension. From there on there's trouble with an angry dinosaur, a horny caveman and zombie-like aliens. It's very rare that I want to walk out of a movie, however on this occasion I came very close to it. The humour attempted in this movie was mostly ... Read the complete review

Will Ferrell is always fun to watch, and his recent new protege is Danny McBride. For me this was a must see, and although early reviews weren't good, I got it as soon as it was released. Actually the other reviews saying it is poor are true. The story is ridiculous, but might of worked if the movie had actually been good. The scenes have no flow, the different places and creatures they encounter are totally random, which is sort of the point, but it just doesn't work. Will and Danny are funny as always so any of their fans like me should be satisfied with the movie. The movie has a unique twist but only serves to provide a different backdrop for ...
