- Cast & Crew - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0408985/fullcredits - Plot - Last Holiday is all about Georgia Byrd, a woman who feels rather down on her luck and is stuck in a boring job, working for a rather mean man at a New Orleans department store. One day, while talking to a co-worker she's particularly keen on, she accidentally hits her head and he insists she gets checked at a nearby hospital, whereby the doctor ends up carrying out a head CT scan which reveals that she has tumours on her brain, which equate to her only having about three weeks to live! Georgia struggles to come to terms with what she's ... Read the complete review

Georgia Byrd has spent her whole life doing things which neither excite nor reward her - she has never done anything to offend or upset anyone else and has worked hard her whole life. However, when she finds out that she has less than a month to live she realises what a ’waste’ her life has been and decides to do everything that she ever wanted to………. Starting with a holiday to Prague and a designer makeover. Last Holiday is probably one of the most rigidly unrealistic and clichéd offerings I have seen all year, there are more plot holes in the script to drive several fork lift trucks through and the viability of the whole is extremely questionable - but it ... When this came out I didn't think it was something I particularly wanted to see, but it happened to be on TV the other day, and there was nothing else on that I wanted to watch, so I settled down to view it. I was quite surprised and quite impressed by the end. It was a nice, viewable film, with a real feel good factor and an interesting storyline. The film begins with the main character, Georgia, stuck in a fairly low paying job, and with a fairly dull life. She fancies her coworker but doesn't know what to do about it. One day, while speaking to him, she bumps her head and knocks herself out. Being the caring guy that he is he carries her to the employee ... Read the complete review

I just finished watching this film and I was extremely impressed. I was not sure what to expect when I watched this movie, but I sure did not expect it to be as good as it was. I really did enjoy it. Queen Latifah did a great job at playing her role. Synopsis: Queen Latifah playe Georgia Byrd, a women who has spent her entire life playing it safe and watching on the side lines as life passed her by, until one day she is diagnosed with a brain disease that gives her only 3 weeks left to live. After finding out this devastating news Georgia decides that she is going to live life to the fullest degree she can until her time to go comes. She cashes in everything ... Read the complete review

Georgia Byrd leads a quiet existence, living in hope that everything she has dreamed of (and put in her book of possibilities) will one day happen for her. Unfortunately she does very little to make that happen. After a bang on her head in work takes her to the emergency room, she is diagnosed with a rare illness that gives her only 3 weeks to live. Georgia then decides to cash in on her life savings and bonds, and heads off on a vacation that takes her to a luxurious hotel. Among the guests though are a group of misfits and ironically her ex-boss and his mistress. With nothing to lose, Georgia goes about charming the staff of the hotel whilst doleing out ...
