Now, he wants revenge" 20+ years ago Stephen King penned a short story which featured a naked guy chomping up grass with his teeth and doing unspeakably violent things to others with a lawnmower - it wasn't one of his best. Some years later someone thought it would be a good idea to bring it to the big screen and bizarrely used NONE of the source material whatsoever when they did so. A few years after that movie, which incidentally I thought was a bit naff despite others loving it, someone had the bright idea of making a sequel - which also comes somewhat out of leftfield. Having watched and enjoyed Lawnmower Man and it's director's cut, which both have quite different story lines, I was most disappointed to find the sequel was, to put it bluntly, appalling. Now I know they had some problems during the filming of the sequel, I believe the company that created the original computer graphics and special effects for the original movie only made it about half way through the second movie then quit. The film then lost some backing, was changed a lot and had a new, and not as good group come in to take over the special effects.
