Lee Evans - Big - Live at the O2 (DVD)

Big is the stand up show that comedian Lee Evans toured with in 2008. The final show and the one at which this DVD was filmed took place at London's 02 in front of over 16,000 people. The DVD and therefore Evans' routine lasts for an outstanding 2 hours 45 minutes and I can safely promise that every second is nothing less than absolute hilarity. Before watching this DVD I definitely wasn't a fan of Lee Evans, in fact I couldn't stand him. Now i should hope many of you had heard of Lee Evans, but sadly i hadn't really until about a year ago. I watched his 2005 performance on TV and became hooked, so when i heard he was releasing BIG Live At The O2, i was over the moon. A bit about the man: Lee Evans 45 started peforming in the 1990's. He has had comparisons with Norman wisdom. He has also done a acting in a fair few movies, such as: Funny Bones, Mousehunt, Theres Something About Mary. . .To name a few. Lee Evans is a comedy genius in my eyes. I remember vaguely hearing the name 'Lee Evans' , although I was never sure who he was or what he looked like. Lee Evans is a legendary comedian, I love watching him perform and this DVD was no exeption, he has a very universal sense of humour and can reach and connect with a wider audience because of this and he really outs himself into a performance, you can tell this by the sweat dripping from, well everywhere, that seems to appear half way through a show. This DVD shows Lee Evans Live int the O2 stadium, this is a massive venue and I think because of this, this performance is extra special, he really proves himself every time he performs, even though he really doesnt have to, hes a comedic god in my eyes. Lee Evans is one of the only English comedians that gets me in stitches, I really love watching repeats of his tours on Paramount Comedy and spend hours laughing my ass off. He's such a funny comedian, so when I heard about his Big tour, I asked for the DVD for Christmas. We matched to get it 'cheap' at Woolworths (20% off) not 80% like it would have been a few days later, however now it's almost halved in price which is very annoying.
