This was one of the lee evans shows that got away from me. i never seen this one when it first came out and im realy dissapointed that i never. I recent got the dvd and i am very impressed with it. Many times i was sat with it on pause while i waited to stop laughing. A few of my mates said its not as good as his modern stuff but i 100% fully disagree. Any one who likes this stlye of stand up must get this dvd. Some very classic moments and a few are on youtube so it could be worth having alook at them first so you can see im not just a fan boy going mad over him lol. I think its safe to say that this is one of the best Lee Evans DVD's to ever be released. When i first watched this i had bouts of uncontrollable side splitting laughter and this was mainly due to the fact that the layout and presentation of the jokes on this particular tour is a lot different to previous ones. The way Lee Evans just explodes into action when he steps on that stage is a great privilege to be a part of, even if you are only watching it on a tv screen. He has this amazing ability to engross you in what he's doing and never fails to put a smile on your face, no matter how you feel, or how many times you watch it. I’ve been a big fan of Lee Evans for quite some time now; many have billed him as being a modern day Norman Wisdom through his style of comedy and physical gesticulation through his act. On this disc we get to see him to full effect. I saw Lee live in Newcastle for my Birthday in 1999. The conclusion of his tour however took place in Edinburgh and this DVD gives us the show of that evening.
