Advantages: Only about 90 minutes long, Full of beautiful people

Disadvantages: Dull, Poor plot

This film is utterly average, at best. The acting is totally unremarkable, with the exception of the main character's dog. The plot is predictable. The whole thing has been done before and really didn't need doing again.

The plot is as follows: superficial but kind hearted blonde girly falls for attractive but basically horrible blokie. He is terrifically clever and dumps her because she's a bit dim and he's off to Harvard to read law. She decides that she'll go to and works very hard to get accepted. This is her clever plan to win him back. Of course, all characters are desperately gorgeous and rich. She gets to law school, he's nasty to her and takes up with a ever nastier brunette know-it all. I would usually not expose the rest of the plot - but I think it's painfully obvious to us all that the two girls end up friends, the guy ends up a fool and the blonde girl becomes top of her class and falls in love with one of the actually lawyers.

Yawn. It's Clueless, but way worse. I watched this film during an 8 hour flight and it served to make it feel longer. The names of members of the cast escape me, but I promise you that it was no-one really worth remembering. It makes for good eye candy and will soften your brain - but it's not intellectually stimulating, interesting, particularly funny, sad, touching or even proper entertainment. You will have seen it all before, don't bother with it again.
