      not a movie for me

Lemonade Mouth is a 2011 Disney channel movie starring Bridget mender. Disney channel is always on in my house and I always kept hearing the soundtrack from the movie. One day I saw the movie on so decided to watch it. I weren't really expecting much from the movie as Disney movies get cheesier and cheesier the older you get and this had no one I know starring in it..

The characters in the movie are:
Bridget Mendler - as Olivia White who is the lead singer of the band and the main charcater in the movie.
Adam Hicks - Wendell Gifford for short Wen. There is love in the air between him and lead singer of the band Olivia. His raps in the bands songs which I though was good because Disney are introducing different genres of music to their channel. I thought this was a good element to have in the movie.
Hayley Kiyoko - plays Stella Yamanda in the movie she is the trouble maker of the group. She is the lead guitarist in the band.
Naomi Scott - plays Mo who is the bass guitarist she is the pretty girl of the group that has a boyfriend in the rival band and faces confusion of weather to pick him or her band.
There are no special acting in this it's pretty much what you would expect from a Disney movie I don't think and of the main characters good stood out in my eyes.

From hearing the name of the movie I didn't really think it would be that good because it baffled me why you would call a movie lemonade mouth but when I watched the movie it made sense why it was called that. The movie is about a group of teens that meet in detention and realize they are all good musicians and decide to form a band and enter a local competition. It was quite weird that a bunch of strangers would get up and start singing together in detention but that's Disney for you. The band call them self lemonade mouth because there is a lemonade machine that they always use in their rehearsal room. The 2nd part to what helped them find their name is when the group where in an argument with their rival band and Stella spits her lemonade in the rivals mouth from then the rivals called her lemonade mouth and the group liked it and thought that would be a good name.
Lemonade plays a big part in the movie as when their lemonade machine is taken from their rehearsal room things start to go wrong for them. The movie is predominantly set in a high school.
The movie outcome is slightly different from your usual Disney movie I was expecting it to have a happy ending and they win the competition but everything didn't turn out in their favour(almost). I think the thing that made the movie too cheesy for me is the relationship between Wen and Olivia it was just so typical for a movie like this.

This movie is a cross between camp rock and high school musical. This movie is definetly a musical and it has many musical numbers in it. I think that some of the songs in the movie are actually ok. They come under the genre of pop/rock mixed with verses of raps on some of them. I think of all the songs the one that stands out is Determinate 1 because it's performed 3 times in thee movie and 2 because it's the lively and funist song. The song is available on iTunes for 99p or the whole album with 13 songs on their is available for 7.99. I think the album is more worth a purchase than the movie as its quite different music.

I think this movie is aimed at young teens and pre-teens.the movie is available to buy on amazon from £8.84 and upwards I don't really think its worth that much as its on Disney channel every now and then it's better to just wait to watch it.

I think the movie was ok but not sure if I would recommend it as it wasn't that great.
