Yes, I know this film was probably meant to be serious but when I watched this it was the most hilarious thing i had ever seen. This is no nice Leprechaun and you probably shouldn't watch it if you don't like films with lots of death and excessive amounts of blood. Even though it isn't too great a film the actors including Warwick Davis and Jennifer Aniston managed to hold the film together. There are three other Leprechaun which I haven't got round to watching yet unfortunately. Leprechaun is an interesting movie, although I never could work out exactly where the film makers were coming from with it. It seemed to be billed as a horror movie, interviews with the cast at the time described as being a horror movie and yet when I watched it, I thought it was the funniest movie I had seen all year. I suppose there wasn't that much chance of a movie about a murderous leprechaun being particularly scary so one wonders why it was billed as such. Basically then, its not a horror movie, but rather a horror comedy, with the emphasis on comedy. As a comedy its also extremely dumb, but I kinda like it, so I'm going to recommend it to you anyway... ... Read the complete review
