INTRODUCTION I am a fan of Disney myself, so when my seven-year-old daughter recently had a birthday, I was only too happy to order her Lilo and Stitch on DVD from Amazon. We hadn’t managed to see it when it was on at the cinema, but she had watched the DVD at her friend’s house and had been enthusiastic then. Since its arrival here, the DVD has been watched several times by my daughter and her siblings. Last night, it was my turn. After The Bill finished at 9pm, I sat down for a bit of child-free time and immersed myself in the film. I then watched all the extras, only getting to bed at half midnight. So Lilo and Stitch – a ... Read the complete review

Forgive the pronunciation but it seems to be the Hawaiian vernacular. So there we are looking for suitable movies at the local multiplex to fill the void that is half-term week. Having slalomed our way through the numerous nippers wondering about like refugee giraffes in a Toys-R-Us store, we finally negotiated our way to screen 4. Surrounded by the rustling of sweet wrappers and the inevitable kicks in the back from the obligatory restless child behind me, we settled down to take in Disney's 41st effort in their movie making sequence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- Directed by: ... With Disney's The Lion King being a firm favourite of mine for many years, Lilo and Stitch comes very very close second. Released in 2002, the film follows Experiment 626 who was invented by an evil scientist named Jumba. Jumba and Stitch are put on trial at the United Galactic Federation and are sentenced to life imprisonment. Stitch manages to escape in a spaceship and crash lands onto Earth. The other main character is a troubled little Hawaiian girl called Lilo. She lives with her sister Nani on an island in Hawaii. Her parents died when she was little and is being brought up by her sister. One day Nani goes to pick Lilo up from school and ... Read the complete review

Lilo and Stitch is by far my all time favorite Disney film of all time, and to be quite honest, one of my favorite films in general. Released in 2002, Lilo and Stitch is Disneys 42nd animated feature, and it doesn't dissapoint! Rated U and running for 82 minutes this is a film that's suitable for all the family. The movie starts with Dr. Joomba Jookiba being put in trial by the galactic governing body for the creation of 'stitch', at this time simply 'experiment 626'. He's a small blue alien with too many arms and an appitite for destruction. The result of the trial is that he's sentenced to death, until he escaped on a stolen space ship and lands in Hawaii, ... Introduction I love Disney movies, and this is one of the few I hadn't ever gotten around to see. As I had some time this afternoon while tidying I thought this should be a laugh to see, it had always looked a fun movie. Well in this case you can judge a DVD by its cover. Story (May contain spoilers and maybe nuts) In a typical space federation style, there are all these alien species with a galactic council, which is where the movie opens. (Typically Earth is not part of it, after all space travel we can't do that at a high enough speed). There is an Idiot alien ("I prefer Evil Genius") who has created a intelligent, ...
