Advantages: Great Story, Great Animation, One for all the family
Disadvantages: none
The Lion King II Simba's Pride is a sequel to a Disney work of art. We pick up the story as the lion king, Simba and Nala have a new baby cub, a girl named Kiara. Like her father she seeks adventure and ends up outside the Pridelands, where lions loyal to Scar lived with revenge in their hearts. The leader, Zira schemes to use her son Kovu to destroy Simba. As it turns out, Kiara bumped into Kovu and fell in love. As always with Disney things Work out in the end. Once again Disney turned out a true work of art for children, the sequel will be a great favourite. The antics of Timon and Pumba are great fun and enjoyable, and there's plenty of action, music and songs,.The film itself is made in Disney's classic style closely following the story of it's predecessor and the music also follows the African style. This is definatley a story that the whole family can and will enjoy. Voiceovers- Matthew Broderick - Simba Neve Campbell - Kiara Andy Dick - Nuka Robert Guillaume - Rafiki James Earl Jones - Mufasa Moira Kelly - Nala Nathan Lane - Timon Ernie Sabella - Pumbaa Jason Marsden - Kovu Suzanne Pleshette - Zira Edward Hibbert - Zazu Studio: Buena Vista Home Entertainment DVD Release Date: 5 February, 2001 Run Time: 78 minutes
