a great musical and non-condescending kids program teaching the classical genre and loads of artwork

The Little Einstein's are 4 characters called Annie, Quincy, Leo and Drew who are obsessed with classical music and the episodes currently air on Disney Channel and my little one is fanatical about them! (I like to think this means she will want to play the violin or something when she is older!) As it only comes on very rarely and she was always asking to watch these Little Einsteins I bought her this Mission Celebration DVD on ebay for £3.71 inculding posting and packaging.

The main concept is quite similar with most kids programs, as they often have to solve problems such as making big jet "jump" like a Stoccato and travelling the world viewing art! Patting your knees faster to give the jet more power to take off and fly are just some of the activities which make this program engaging and my daughter loves it! She is only 2 (3 next month) and she has extraordinarily widened her vocabulary knowing the compostion of Mozart and Bach as we were recently in a shop and she shouted "mummy this is Mozart!" Leaving a group of people around me looking quite stunned!

I was slightly disappointed with this DVD as there were only 4 episodes on it, and with an average run time of about 20 minutes it doesn't last particularly long, but yet somehow it keeps her stimulated and she seems to be able to watch the same episodes over and over! Also, I think as it is a US show, the episodes on the DVD never seem to be the ones aired on Disney channel here in the UK so she gets to see something new which makes it slightly less repetitive when she does watch the DVD.

Overall I am really happy with this purchase and I am hoping to gather a few more in the Little Einsten series for her :)
