I was weary of him trying to portray someone so determined, and with such a heavy emotional load, what with his father having been killed by the beast. But he was amazing as the lead in this film. The supporting cast are also a whos who of televison scifi stars. This film is a must see, not just for those who like nessy films, ...more

I've just seen the film on UK scifi channel, and all i've got to say is wow. The creatures just looked splendid. The way in which the plesiosaur moved through the water was amazing. Ive just watched this film as im a avid monster flick fan,Right from the begining there is no surprise what the monster is or what it looks like,it centres around a group of teenagers who get terrorised by a lochness monster, unfortunatley thats the plot of the whole movie its very weak in the story department. It does have some good points though, the moster cgis are fantastic they look great and you will see a few familiar faces in the cast to,i spotted the general from stargate and also one of the charmed cast as the monster hunter. It isnt a terrible film its main loss is a good story also they made the baby monsters so cute its kind of hard to belive they ...  Read the complete review

Being from Inverness, there is a bit of a fascination with Loch Ness and the monster legend for all of us locals. I am a firm believer that there is something in the Loch, but no-one knows what is there. I have visited the Loch many times over the years and have never seen anything. So when I say this DVD on sale on Amazon for the princely sum of £5.48, I just had to buy it out of curiosity! And not to mention the fact that it stars Brian Krause and Paul McGillion (two actors that make me go a bit weak at the knees!). ***Synopsis*** The film begins on the shores of Loch Ness in the 1970's. Dr Michael Murphy (McGillion) finds an egg within ...  Read the complete review
