Advantages: Great storyline and fantatsic animation and acting quality throughout.

Disadvantages: It is a very long film and some parts may be unsuitable for younger children.

As I'm sure you know The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring is an outstaning film. The film is of course based on the novel the Lord of the rings by J.R.R Tolken. The film won 4 Oscars and another 76 other wins which is just umbelivable and it really is not supprise, I could not recommend this film any more. I bought this wonderful film from Asda and you can now get it for £5 from Amazon which considering its sucess is a great price. It was released in 2001 originally and stars Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean amongst many other top class actors. The cast really is superb in the film and it just adds to the quality.

The film is about a group of friends and allies having to pull together a huge amount of courage to embark upon a very dangerous journey. Frodo must go on an epic adventure full of danger to destroy the ring that he carries with him, but of course there will be many obstacles that will frequently attempt to take his life andd stop him from achieving this quest. The danger lies if Sauron were to get hold of this ring because it would cause the earth to be doomed. It is a fantatsic story that shows how friendship and courage can get you through almost anything in this wonderful tale. A fantatsic story that I would really recommend!

I found the graphics and special effects within the film to be absolutely oustanding. The music is also fantatsic and the film contains some brilliant quotes. I would really recommend this as a family entertainment film, however there are two things that must be noted. Firstly it is a very long film indeed being about 178 minutes and also there are some parts which really are quite gory and will not be suitable for younger children. A fantatsic film though that I though rally recommend. I hope this was usefyl and thank you very much for reading!
