If it wasn’t for the rather soured ending like the Iberain fruit after a wet autumn, this beautiful contemporary romantic Mediterranean classic would have got five dooyoo stars from me. It’s superbly acted with the cutesy Latin kids playing it to perfection, Cinema Paradiso style. Its filmed in that typical quirky Euro cinema style with gorgeous imagery washed over with authentic mood music and magical atmosphere. It follows the lives of to children from different and interchanging families who slowly fall in love with each other as they mature.
