My children (17 months and 2.5 years) have so many videos which certainly entertain them, but as parents we think "are they learning anything". Maisy Colours and Counting is wonderful. I didn't expect my toddler to like it, but he LOVES it. The images are simple (suits both kiddies) and the content is very good. There is a real emphasis on numbers but I thought the colour emphasis was more sublimic. I've watched my toddler count along with the train sequence and repeat numbers he simply won't say for me. Maisy, Maisy, Maisy Maisy Mouse! That's the tune we have to endure most days from our toddler daughter Lucy. She'll be two in October and has loved Maisy ever since we had a free video on the front of a Parenting Magazine about 6 months ago. This only had 3 adventures on it, so it was rather limited. Lucy does love the seaside episode though - she dances around the room pretending to be a crab when its on. To satisfy her craving for "Mau Mau" as Lucy calls her, we went and bought "Maisy's Colours and Counting" video.
