Not the greatest film ever made! (Mamma Mia! (DVD))

Advantages: Nice shots of Greece! Julie Walters saves the day.

Disadvantages: Few of the actors can't sing. Bit of a panto!

Sorry to all the Mamma Mia fans but I have to say I wasn't a big fan! Went to see the film at the cinema on Friday, not my choice which was probably part of the problem and I really didn't enjoy it.

I know it's supposed to be a bit of a panto but why not do a musical with actors who can sing?! I really think Colin Farrell and Pierce Brosnan struggled with the singing and so did Meryl Streep in a few scenes.

I know it's all down to personal choice but there really wasn't much to the storyline, the plot jumped from pillar to post to try and accomodate ABBA songs, I know that's probably the whole point but I found it a distraction.

On the plus side the scenery is amazing, it'll make you want to book a trip to Greece immediately! Julie Walters saved the film for me, I love that woman, she was very funny.

Sorry, don't shoot me, just not my thing at all.

Summary: Not my thing at all, plot an afterthought but think this might be the whole point!
