      Really not worth watching

This is the third instalment in the Maniac Cop series. The initial start of the movie where they try and explain some kind of voodoo ceremony happening, feels a bit like they stole from the Halloween storyline to explain Michael Meyers (and this isn't the first Halloween reference I've used in this series). To me it makes the movie lose its realism, which it essentially had.
This movie sorts of turns the tables a bit, now the good cop who was bad due to his need for revenge on his injustice is fighter for others, so is he good or bad? I really don't know, his methods though are not good though, but they are effective.

      Story (May contain spoilers)
Just like the second movie, this one starts with a 2 minute recap of movie 2. What is strange though is we have a link to some voodoo type ceremony happening in the background the same time as Cordell was buried, I suppose to explain how he can now come back to life.
So now Cordell is back and walking the streets killing people, but Sean is back on the case, and he's spent some time investigating the occult... so now some of these headless killings he knows about.
Sean is now on the track of what's going on, although everything is not as it seems. Cordell seems to be standing up for other cops having injustice against them, one of them being a friend of Sean, Katie. She is a cop that shot a thief whom had taken a hostage, however the hostage was working with the thief so when Katie killed the thief, the hostage shot Katie and put her in hospital. Because no Katie is being accused of excessive force, the state want her to die in her comatose state rather than recover, as it would save them "grief".
So the investigation becomes a bit weird, Sean wants to protect Katie, but needs to catch Cordell. Cordell seems to be protecting Katie by killing those who pose a danger, and have authorisation to be dangerous.

      Overall Opinion
This movie is no where near as good as the first 2. To be honest you can easily go without seeing it. It lends nothing to the overall story line and to be honest the past doesn't really influence this movie. You could easily watch it without having seen the first two.

Overall I would have to say don't watch this movie, you'll be disappointed, confused, and it really does let the trilogy down. If you do watch this make sure its because all other 998 channels have stopped working and only Zone Horror, which would be the only channel to show this, is the only one left working.
