Advantages: Very funny and sad perfect combinations, easy to relate to

Disadvantages: Made me cry (like a big girl)

ODEON CINEMA - February 2009, Myself and the missus arguing as to what film to watch, I wanted to see Gran Torino she wanted to see some girly rubbish.

I bottled it and decided to see Marley and Me, with reasonably low expectations all I could think was surely Owen Wilson will make this worthwhile for the comedy and Jennifer Aniston for the EYE CANDY.

Firstly I can say that anyone with a dog will definitely relate to this film, you will laugh and feel like your watching a story of your own.

30 mins in and I was engrosed, brilliant acting by both Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston, it makes you feel both happy and sad throughout as you watch the couple go through their life while always having their best friend with them.

I rarely shed a tear on films and usually try to buff out my chest and grunt, however this did bring a tear to my eye.

Summary: Superb film exceeded expectations
