One of the best lines from the Oscars was from a female independent film maker who, during her acceptance speech, quipped:” You know you have made it in this business when you’re dress costs more than your film”. This review can be found on other sites under the same user name. After viewing the films trailer, I really had high hopes for this film by debut director Miranda July. Seeing as it's received 14 awards and 5 nominations the film could hardly be a disappointment, could it? I was however very wrong with this assumption and found it to be a total waste of 90 minutes of my life. What's it about? The film follows 9 people living in the same town where the adults want to be children again, and the children yearn to be adults, all desperately looking to connect with someone.
