Meet the Feebles is one of those highly original films you don't come across all too often, all the characters are puppets! The plot is pretty simple, there is a show on television titled "The Feebles Variety Hour", the cast and crew for the show are planning for an upcoming live show with the hopes that it will boost the show's popularity. During this time there is tension between the producer, a drug dealing walrus, and one of the stars of the show, a slightly overweight pink hippo. Meet The Feebles is a Peter Jackson film, so if you've seen his others, (Bad Taste, Braindead) you may know what to expect. The cover states "The adult puppet movie with something to offend everyone." That is very accurate. The Feebles are a group of all singing all dancing puppets who have their own weekly TV show. Off camera though, things are not quite so fun. Thers a hippo, who is a Ms Piggy type character, shes the star of the of the show. When you think of a puppet film you most people will think of a muppet film or something for children but others, who have seen meet the feebles will probably think in a very different way. Meet the Feebles is all about the cast of the feeble varitey hour, that get massacred and show them preparing for their big tv show. Meet The Feebles is one of the strangest, most bizarre and disgusting films I have ever seen! It's also pretty funny! Meet The Feebles is a puppet film, think the Muppets then think what it would have been like if made strictly for adults only? Replace the friendly arguments with fighting, swearing and disgusting situations and you are on the right track. Forget South Park, if there is one film that gets the award for horrid, nastyand sheer bad taste, it's got to be Meet the Feebles. Imagine the Muppets.Now combine this with South Park. Then add a touch of Casino.
