Advantages: people in the cinema laughed

Disadvantages: nauseatingly unpleasant

Forget South Park, if there is one film that gets the award for horrid, nasty
and sheer bad taste, it's got to be Meet the Feebles. Imagine the Muppets.
Now combine this with South Park. Then add a touch of Casino. Sprinkle
liberally with sex, drugs, more sex, more drugs ... and you're starting to get
the idea.

The characters are all puppets - there is no way you could have live characters doing the things that they portray on screen. And they are putting on a show,
just like the Muppets. But we're not talking any cute and fluffy Kermit
characters here. The main star, Heidi, is a hippo. Her Kermit is a Walrus -
who runs the show, but also happens to be cheating on her with a young starlet
pussy cat. Shall we say you are left in no doubt about what the cat is doing
under his desk.

And so it continues. The long-nosed character who isn't at all Gonzo (honest)
has to collect a suitcase of drugs, and becomes a not-human-guinea-pig. The
reporter, portrayed as a fly, is buzzing around causing trouble.

Knives fly, blood flies, various other bodilly fluids make their way wildly
across the screen. Definitely not a film for anyone with a weak stomach.
