I have seen so many good films lately that I keep writing they are the best ever, but this one surpasses the lot again. Killer Instinct is part 1 of the 2 part movie series starring Vincent Cassel as the real-life French gangster Mesrine. This biopic follow his emergence from the armed forces and into organised crime. The film is, without a doubt, the most authentic gangster film I have ever seen. There is nothing Hollywoodised about it, and it just oozes reality.
