Advantages: So funny you will hurt after watching it

I got this for Christmas as an unexpected present from my hubby after I'd been in stitches at the advert so he took a punt and bought it from amazon. This is one of the funniest dvd's I have ever seen. Michael McIntyre is a genius.

This is filmed at his tour (i.e why loud and laughing) and as usual he's wearing his pink shirt and suit. I love the live comedy dvd's because you get the opportunity to see loads of comedy shows without having to go yourself admittedly the atmosphere is nothing compared to being there.

Where Michael is funniest for me is his actions, the way he skips around the stage, shakes his head and puts on the most ridiculous voice (really you have to see it). Like most comedians the funniest jokes are those based on real life (think his traffic skit, I was in tears laughing at that - it is soooo true). And he has plenty of real life skits in a wide range of subjects so it's not like he's repeating himself over and over again.

Some of the gags are re-workings of older ones but even these are just as funny as the first time you saw them.

For those who don't like bad language there isn't that much. I lent this dvd to my out-laws who hate swearing and they were in stitches too and didn't disapprove at all. A first for a comedy lending of mine lol. His material will appeal to a broad audience too although the jokes about his children towards the end might not be as funny to non-parents????

The dvd lasts about 80 minutes which is excellent value I think. It's around £7 on amazon at the moment so it's a real bargain. If you're having a down day stick this on it will make you feel so much better.

If you've enjoyed his saturday night show on bbc1 you so have to get this dvd! I love it, love it, love it.
