The Mighty Boosh named after Noel Fielding's huge hair, composes of actors Howard Moon (Julian Barratt), Bollo (Dave Brown), Naboo the Enigma (Michael Fielding), Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) and Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher). There are a vast array of different, exciting and usually obscure characters, more so than anything you will have ever seen before, including Crack Fox (a fox from the country now hooked on crack) and O'l Gred (part man part fish with the infamous 'Mangina'). The Mighty Boosh in my opinion is the work of comedy Genius. A lot of the people i speak to about the Mighty Boosh state that they just don't get it, but i really feel there is nothing to get. The Mighty Boosh is all about just not thinking into it, its fun, silly, quirky, weird, wrong but hilarious. Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding play Howard Moon and Vince Noir in the Mighty Boosh adventures. Howard moon is the older less cool jazz fan, usually mocked but realistically a lot smarter than his co-star Vince Noir the electric cool king of Camden Elite, and adorable but stupid character who female fans can't help but fall in love with. For the price you pay you get more than your money's worth for this DVD. Normally I get excited about the extras on DVDs only to end up being bitterly disappointed. You will be anything but with this generous collection of out takes, documentaries and quirky moments from the masters of the crimp, The Mighty Boosh. Feeling that they exhausted the zoo, Julian and Noel switched the location to their flat. This is a brave but brilliant move on the two as it has opened up the series in a way forward to keep it fresh, funny an exciting.
