The Mighty Boosh named after Noel Fielding's huge hair, composes of actors Howard Moon (Julian Barratt), Bollo (Dave Brown), Naboo the Enigma (Michael Fielding), Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) and Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher). There are a vast array of different, exciting and usually obscure characters, more so than anything you will have ever seen before, including Crack Fox (a fox from the country now hooked on crack) and O'l Gred (part man part fish with the infamous 'Mangina').

Series 2 is my person favorite. They are mainly at their house 'near Camden' and their band goes through the ups and downs (mainly down) through out the series. They go on some mystical adventures to find 'New Sounds' and 'the funk'.

Some people say they don't understand it and it is not funny. This is because you have to look beyond obvious clichés and jokes that have been done over and over again. Understanding that they are using the use of sound implication over witty one liners. In fact I think that they're comedy is far more witty and intelligent than most of the comedy around now days.

The use of ambiguous sentences and creative lexis makes them in my opinion one of the best comedy groups around - 'What's that meant to be?' 'Cornish Guilt' - pure genius.

It seems that they have got a massive cult following and a lot of people are really into them but don't actually know who else is.

I was actually lucky enough to meet Noel in Camden with a friend and he actually made us a poncho - just goes to show that the characters really are actually a part of Noel himself.

Julian is the master mind behind all the music and songs as he is the real genius there. Noel brings it all to life very effectively!

Summary: clever funny and worth a watch!
