Advantages: good acting, nice festive story

Disadvantages: some people may think this is aimed at children

This is one of the best christmas movies of all time in my opinion. Everything about it done in a very good fashion. I have watched this film many times and it certainly does have the magic of xmas about it. The story revolves around a little girl and her mum who is in charge of Coles Toy shop. unknown to the mother, she employs the real father christmas to work in the department store and of course chaos insues before the inevitable feel good christmas finish.

The visuals of the film fit in well with the festive season that it is trying to portay. There is a lot of glitz and the film does have a sentimental side.

To conclude, if you have never seen this film on television then why not buy the DVD, turn on the xmas lights and indulge yourself in the magic of xmas - just as you did as a child.

Summary: A festive film for all the family.
