MI2 - I've seen it already!! (Mission Impossible (DVD))

Advantages: Plenty of action, kung-fu like fighting

Disadvantages: Hard to follow story line

I was in Toronto, Canada few weeks ago. Took the opportunity to watch MI2 :-) United Kingdom is always few steps behind for new movies. Well, was it good? Yes and no. It is better than MI-1. The special effect is superb. Tom Cruise fights like a pro. The martial art is very kung fu like. I think the director John Woo hired a Chinese martial artist to add in Eastern kong fu element. As with any John Woo movie, there are plenty of actions to stimulate your neuron. The one-to-one fight towards the end is sooo good!

Any bad stuff? Yes: the story line and the logic. It is hard to follow the story, and it tries to challenge the logic. Sometimes, if just feels illogical, which I think is the main weakness of today's movie. The actress is not that pretty. After spending so much on Tom Cruise, they should have coupled him with actress from the same class.

All in all, worth the money spent.
