... the movie to give us the actual facts, but hints at what happened are dropped throughout the film. I think what probably makes this case so interesting is how the Barlow's and the Wells's are two entirely different backgrounds - Sarah lives with her wealthy husband, whilst Linda is carrying out the single mother life with her parents in a small town. * THE BIG MISTAKE * 1999's Mistaken Identity follows the lives of two mothers who have not only given birth on the same day, but they have had their babies switched at this birth by complete accident of the hospital itself. Crashing your car into a fence is an accident, but having your baby switched for another is something that is just impossible to comprehend. Based on actual events, I presume over in America, this film appears to be made on a documentary budget, but it doesn't disappoint.
